New industries present new opportunities, and with these opportunities arise new risks. The risk is one of regulatory intervention. If managed correctly, such regulatory interventions can be turned into an opportunity for a business to improve its compliance and develop a longstanding, positive relationship with the relevant regulators. Robert’s expertise in making regulatory applications, obtaining regulatory approvals and defending interventions can mitigate these risks in order to allow innovation to flourish.

Robert has advised companies in relation to licensing and regulatory submissions to the MHRA, FSA, CQC and the Home Office. Due to his unique expertise he has become a leading legal expert in the European cannabis industry and has re-enforced the firm’s position as a global leader in Regulatory Solutions.
