Jesse is a key member of Harris Sliwoski’s Dispute Resolution / Litigation practice group. He has an extensive domestic and international litigation background and has represented clients from a wide range of industries in high stakes disputes. Jesse represents numerous clients in the cannabis industry and he regularly writes on litigation issues involving hemp and CBD. In every dispute, it is Jesse’s goal to find the best and most cost-effective solution for his clients. His analytical mind, excellent writing skills, and steady presence allow him to find unique solutions to complicated domestic and international disputes.

Jesse graduated magna cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School. After law school, Jesse clerked for the Hon. Thomas J. Kalitowski of the Minnesota Court of Appeals and then held a highly competitive federal appellate clerkship with the Hon. Myron H. Bright of the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals. Before joining Harris Sliwoski, Jesse spent several years litigating complex commercial disputes in state and federal courts across the country at a large firm in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Jesse served as a Board Member of the Bar Association for the Eighth Circuit and authored a chapter of the Eighth Circuit Appellate Practice Manual. In 2012, Jesse co-taught the newly formed Insurance Law Clinic at the University of Minnesota Law School.

Belle Borovik practices intellectual property law, focusing on trademarks and copyrights in regulated industries.  Ms. Borovik performs domestic and international trademark clearance, prosecution, maintenance, and portfolio management, and counsels clients with U.S. and International trademark portfolios. Ms. Borovik also handles infringement matters on social media platforms and represents clients in Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution (UDRP), in court and before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB).  Ms. Borovik drafts, reviews, and negotiates trademark and copyright licenses and assignments, settlement agreements, trademark co-existence agreements, intellectual property purchase agreements, software licenses, software development agreements, nondisclosure agreements, independent contractor agreements (including work-for-hire agreements), and marketing services agreements. Ms. Borovik graduated from the University of San Francisco School of Law with honors, where she was Executive Editor of the Intellectual Property & Technology Law Journal, Senior Editor of the USF Law Review, a board member for the University of San Francisco Moot Court Board, and a winner of the Best Oral Argument award in the University of San Francisco Moot Court Advocate of the Year Competition. Ms. Borovik was also a founder of the USF Space and Aeronautical Law Association. 
Prior to entering law school, Ms. Borovik received training as a neuroscientist, and successfully combined her love of music and science by creating a research-based music program for toddlers. Ms. Borovik is a mom to a 10-year-old philosopher, and a 7-year-old mad scientist, who both inspire her every move.

Sahar Ayinehsazian is an attorney in Vicente Sederberg's Los Angeles office, where she focuses on cannabis banking, corporate transactions, and regulations. With her specialized knowledge, Sahar helped to establish and currently co-chairs Vicente Sederberg's Banking and Financial Services Department. As a member of the National Cannabis Industry Association’s Banking Access Committee, Sahar also works on strategy and educational advocacy to enable state-licensed businesses to obtain accounts at depository institutions.

Prior to joining Vicente Sederberg, Sahar served as the director of regulatory and governmental affairs at a multi-state money transmitter servicing the cannabis industry, where she developed a comprehensive understanding of credit card flow, banking and cannabis compliance. She holds a Bachelor of Arts, with honors, from the University of California, San Diego and a law degree from Loyola Law School, where she was a Loyola Scholar.
